Operation Hydra ran from May 2017 and introduced the Operation Hydra Case with a set of community-made finishes. Cobra Strike appeared as the Classified Dual Berettas — the case's highest-rarity pistol — with a hand-painted cobra on each grip and neon venom across the slides.
Cobra Strike hand-paints a cobra on either grip of the Dual Berettas, with the slides displaying the snake's neon-coloured venom. The flavour text 'They always strike back' positions the cobras as entities with agency — the pistols not merely weapons but active, retaliating creatures.
Cobra Strike is one of the most desirable Classified Dual Berettas finishes in CS2. The hand-painted cobra motif, neon venom slides, and Classified rarity combine to make it a recurring target for collectors who invest in the Dual Berettas weapon class.
Classified Grade from the Operation Hydra Case — roughly a 1-in-156 chance per opening. Float caps at 0.60 allowing all five exteriors. StatTrak™ variants exist.
