P250 | Verdigris was introduced with The Prisma Collection in March 2019, available from the Prisma Case. The verdigris drips — the natural green patina formed when copper oxidizes — gave the P250 a chemical weathering aesthetic grounded in real metallurgical processes.
The finish simulates the verdigris drip patterns created when a copper base is exposed to the elements. The flavor text — 'From the air you breathe' — references the atmospheric oxidation process that creates the green patina.
Verdigris draws interest for its chemically accurate concept. The simulation of copper oxidation is technically precise and gives the P250 an organic, aged-metal appearance that is unusual in the pistol category.
