The eSports 2013 Winter Case arrived in late 2013 as one of the earliest CS:GO cases. Afterimage appeared as a Classified FAMAS — the case's highest-rarity rifle entry — with broken ribbon trail painting that created a dynamic, motion-blur aesthetic.
Afterimage refers to the visual phenomenon where a persistent image remains visible after the original source has passed — the kind of motion trail left by a fast-moving object. The custom-painted broken ribbon trails execute this concept across the FAMAS's surfaces, suggesting speed and the residue of movement.
As a Classified skin from one of CS:GO's oldest cases, Afterimage carries early-game heritage. The min float of 0.02 creates a very narrow FN band, and the 0.40 cap limits to FN, MW, and FT only, concentrating demand on clean conditions.
Classified Grade from the eSports 2013 Winter Case — roughly a 1-in-156 chance per opening. Min float 0.02 creates a narrow FN band. Float caps at 0.40. StatTrak™ variants exist.
Afterimage drops from the eSports 2013 Winter Case. StatTrak™ variants are available. Float range is 0.02 to 0.40.
A narrow Factory New band (0.02–0.07), Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested are available. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred cannot exist due to the 0.40 float cap.
Custom-painted broken ribbon trails across the FAMAS's surfaces — the ribbon shapes referencing the visual residue of fast motion, as though the rifle has left a trace of itself in its path.
Afterimage is treated as a vintage Classified FAMAS with a strong motion concept. The tight float restriction makes FN examples a consistent collector target, and the case's historical position in CS:GO's earliest months sustains long-term interest.
