476 rifle skins across 11 weapons. This page covers every rifle in CS2 – from the AK-47 and AWP to the M4A4, M4A1-S and the rest of the buy menu. Rifles are the largest weapon category in our CS2 skins database.
Each skin shows live market prices, float ranges and which case or collection it drops from. Use the weapon tabs to filter by rifle, or sort by rarity and price to find skins in your budget. The AK-47 alone has 59 skins, the AWP 58, and the M4A4 58. Prices run from $0.06 for a common M4A4 Mainframe to over $600,000 for a Souvenir AWP Dragon Lore Factory New.
Rifles decide rounds. The AK-47, AWP, M4A4 and M4A1-S account for the majority of kills in competitive CS2, and their skins move more volume than any other weapon category.
The T-side default and the most-used weapon in the game – it one-taps through helmets at any range.
Budget picks under $5: Elite Build ($1–$2), Rat Rod ($2–$3), Slate ($1–$3), Ice Coaled ($0.50–$2).
A one-shot kill to the body and the highest-impact weapon in CS2. AWP skins are the second most traded category after knives.
Budget picks under $5: Safari Mesh ($0.20), Pit Viper ($0.50–$1), Acheron ($0.60–$1), Atheris ($3–$4), Mortis ($4–$5).
The CT-side default – higher fire rate than the AK but needs one more bullet through a helmet.
Budget picks under $5: Mainframe ($0.06), Urban DDPAT ($0.50–$1), Converter ($1–$2), Tooth Fairy ($2–$4).
The silenced alternative – lower fire rate, tighter spray, built-in suppressor. Many pros prefer it for long-range fights.
Budget picks under $5: Boreal Forest ($0.10), Moss Quartz ($0.30), Briefing ($1–$2), Nightmare ($2–$4).
Weapon popularity drives skin demand. Here's why some rifles command premiums and others don't:
| Weapon | Side | Cost | Usage | Skin price impact |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AK-47 | T | $2,700 | Very high | Highest rifle skin prices |
| AWP | Both | $4,750 | High | Second highest, collector-driven |
| M4A4 | CT | $3,100 | High | Howl creates Contraband premium |
| M4A1-S | CT | $2,900 | High | Printstream family drives demand |
| AUG | CT | $3,300 | Medium | Low except Akihabara Accept |
| FAMAS | CT | $2,050 | Medium (eco) | Low overall |
| Galil AR | T | $1,800 | Medium (eco) | Low except Chatterbox |
| SG 553 | T | $3,000 | Low | Very low |
| SSG 08 | Both | $1,700 | Medium | Low except Blood in the Water |
| G3SG1 / SCAR-20 | T / CT | $5,000 | Very low | Very low |
The pattern is clear: weapons that pros buy every gun round (AK, AWP, M4) have the most expensive skins. Eco weapons and rarely-used autosnipers have cheap skins regardless of rarity.
Popular skin families that span multiple weapons let you build a consistent inventory look:

Souvenir skins are special versions that drop during Major tournament matches, with gold tournament stickers pre-applied: the event logo, the two teams, and the round MVP. The most expensive weapon skin in CS2 – the Souvenir AWP Dragon Lore ($500,000+ FN) – is a Souvenir skin from the Cobblestone Collection, which Valve removed, so no new copies can ever be created. Souvenir skins are always non-StatTrak; their value depends heavily on the tournament, match and player MVP sticker applied.
The Souvenir AWP Dragon Lore Factory New, valued above $600,000. For non-souvenir skins, the AK-47 Case Hardened #661 (Scar pattern) and AWP Gungnir Factory New both trade in the $10,000–$15,000 range.
AK-47 Redline Field-Tested (~$10) is the most popular budget choice. Elite Build ($1–$2), Rat Rod ($2–$3) and Slate ($1–$3) are all solid under $5.
AWP Safari Mesh ($0.20) is the cheapest entry point. For better designs on a budget: Pit Viper ($0.50–$1), Atheris ($3–$4) and Mortis ($4–$5).
The Howl is the only Contraband-tier skin in CS2. Valve removed it from case drops after a DMCA copyright claim on the artwork, so no new copies can be created. Collector demand keeps the price above $2,000 even for Battle-Scarred.
No. The AWP Asiimov has a restricted float range of 0.18 to 1.00, so it can only exist in Field-Tested, Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred condition. Field-Tested is the cleanest version available.
It comes down to gameplay, not skins. The M4A4 has a higher fire rate and a 30-round magazine; the M4A1-S has a tighter spray, built-in suppressor and is quieter. For skins, the M4A4 has the Howl while the M4A1-S has Printstream and Hot Rod.
