The Chroma 2 Case launched in September 2015 and continued the Chroma series' commitment to elaborate, artistically ambitious finishes. Djinn appeared as the Classified FAMAS — the case's premium rifle entry — with gold and nickel inlay and an engraved jinn image.
Djinn is the Arabic term for the supernatural beings of Islamic mythology — beings of smokeless fire who can assume any form. The FAMAS is inlaid with gold and nickel and engraved with the image of a jinn, producing a decorative object with a mythological presence. The flavour text 'Be careful what you wish for' invokes the genie-wishes narrative of Western popular tradition.
