FAMAS | Crypsis is a Mil-Spec skin from The Prisma Collection, first available through the Prisma Case in March 2019. Its randomised insect-pattern spray in autumn colours was inspired by natural camouflage techniques used by insects.
'Crypsis' is the biological term for an organism's ability to blend into its surroundings. The skin embodies this concept with a scattered insect-silhouette pattern in earthy autumnal tones.
Crypsis is one of the more thematically cohesive FAMAS designs, connecting its name to its visual concept. StatTrak Factory New copies attract collectors who favour nature-inspired skins.
Mil-Spec Grade from the Prisma Case. StatTrak versions are available. Float range is 0.00 to 0.55, covering all wear grades up to Well-Worn, with Battle-Scarred marginally accessible near the cap.
FAMAS | Crypsis drops from the Prisma Case. StatTrak versions are obtainable from the same case.
StatTrak™ is available. Float maximum of 0.55 allows Battle-Scarred (requiring float above 0.45) only within the narrow 0.45–0.55 window.
The spray paint application creates a randomised scatter of insect silhouettes across the weapon in orange, brown, and ochre autumn tones. Each individual skin instance has a slightly different arrangement.
Crypsis is regarded as a design with genuine conceptual thought behind it. The nature-themed aesthetic and randomised pattern variation make it a standout in the Prisma Case lineup.
