How to Make Commands Permanent

Console commands reset on restart. Save them to autoexec.cfg:

1. Navigate to: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonCounter-Strike Global Offensivegamecsgocfg

2. Open or create autoexec.cfg with Notepad.

3. Add each command on a new line.

4. Save. CS2 loads these on every startup.

Important Notes

Viewmodel settings don’t affect gameplay. Recoil, spread, and accuracy stay the same at any viewmodel_fov. Only the visual appearance changes.

viewmodel_fov 68 is the max. Values above 68 get capped. Don’t bother trying higher numbers.

Combine with other pro binds. Check our scroll wheel jump bind guide for another essential pro setting.
