The line tracks the lowest market price per day from our own daily index, for the base skin at the selected wear. Applied stickers, rare patterns, exact float and fees are not included. History goes back to when we started tracking each skin and grows a little deeper every day.

What is a CS2 price history tool?

A CS2 price history tool charts how a skin's market price changed over time, so you can see whether it is rising, falling or holding, and spot the best moments to buy or sell. Instead of a single price today, you get the full line: the trend over the last week, month, year or several years. Search a skin, choose the wear, and the chart plots the lowest daily market price. Add more skins to compare how they moved against each other.

How to read a CS2 price chart

  • Pick your range. Switch between 7 days, 30 days, 90 days and all tracked history to zoom in on recent moves or see the full picture.
  • Watch the trend, not one point. A steady climb or drop matters more than a single day spike.
  • Compare skins. Overlay several skins to see which held value better over the same period.
  • Use the change and the high and low. The legend shows the current price and the change across the range, so you know where the skin sits versus its recent peak and floor.

Where the data comes from

Every point on the chart is our own daily snapshot of the lowest market price for that skin, across the cash markets we track (Market.CSGO, Waxpeer, WhiteMarket, Tradeit, DMarket and CSFloat). It is the same pricing as the price comparison tool, so the chart reflects what you would actually pay. Prices convert to USD, EUR or GBP so you can read the trend in your own currency. The history grows by one point per day, so it keeps getting deeper over time.

Why CS2 skin prices move

  • Supply changes. Retired cases and discontinued collections tighten supply and lift prices over time.
  • Updates and operations. New cases, operations and meta shifts move demand for specific skins.
  • Market cycles. The whole CS2 market rises and falls in waves, so most skins move together to some degree.
  • Hype and creators. A skin featured by a big creator or in a major tournament can spike quickly.
