Operation Riptide launched in September 2021 and introduced the Operation Riptide Case with a set of community-created skins. Ocean Drive arrived as the Covert Desert Eagle — the case's peak rarity pistol — with an oversaturated, pop-art-influenced custom paint job.
Ocean Drive takes its name from the iconic Miami street associated with Art Deco architecture and saturated colour, a fitting reference for a finish built from oversaturated colours and different shapes.
