AWP | Lightning Strike was introduced as part of The Arms Deal Collection in 2013. It entered as one of the CS:GO Weapon Case's Covert-tier outcomes — among the earliest Covert skins in the game.

One of the earliest Covert AWP skins and among the first Covert skins introduced to the game via the original community case. The anodized lightning strike concept and the 0.08 float ceiling ensure near-exclusive Factory New distribution.
Covert is the highest standard container rarity, with weighted drop odds of roughly 1 in 384 per CS:GO Weapon Case opening before exterior selection.
Supply now comes from existing inventory and remaining keys, as the CS:GO Weapon Case is no longer part of the active weekly drop pool.
