The Yorick was introduced in December 2015 as part of The Revolver Case Collection — the same update that controversially launched the R8 Revolver at an overtuned power level. The case itself became a minor footnote in CS:GO history, remembered as much for the R8 debate as for its cosmetics.
Named after the skull in Hamlet's famous gravedigger scene, the Yorick features a skull hydrographic with hand-painted gold accents. The flavor text — 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern never had a chance...' — references two minor characters from the same play who meet an off-stage, overlooked death.
