The Train Collection released on 27 November 2013 with the Out with the old, in with the new update, one of the original map collections. It is a cheap, old set topped by the Tec-9 Red Quartz, with the M4A4 Urban DDPAT among its base skins.

Everything here is bargain-bin except the Souvenir copies that survived the first Majors.

The rare item: Tec-9 Red Quartz

The Red Quartz is a red crystalline finish on the Tec-9, the top skin of a small, old collection. Plain copies are cheap, but Souvenir versions from the early Majors on Train carry a scarcity premium.

Where the skins come from

These are original 2013 map skins that dropped early in the game and appeared as Souvenirs at the first Majors played on Train. No standard case exists, and the collection is long discontinued.

Trade-up contracts

With the 2026 souvenir trade-up change, souvenir skins from this collection can feed trade-ups, but with no Covert the ceiling is low. The expected value is negative.

As a collector item

A nostalgia collection. The finishes are cheap; the value is in low-float Souvenir copies with early-Major stickers. Buy for provenance, not for the design.
