Every SMG skin in CS2 with live prices and float data. SMGs are one of the weapon categories in our full CS2 skins overview. There are 6 SMGs with roughly 300 skins between them.
SMGs fill a specific role: they cost $1,050–$2,350 in-game (less than half a rifle), give $600 per kill (double what rifles give), and dominate close range. You buy them after winning the pistol round, on force buys, and whenever the enemy is on eco. Most SMG skins cost under $5 – the highest-value one is the MP9 Wild Lily at ~$40 FN.
SMGs have the lowest skin prices of any category after heavy weapons – but unlike heavy weapons, you actually use them in competitive play (3–5 rounds per game). That makes SMG skins a sweet spot: low cost, decent screen time. The $600 kill reward (vs. $300 for rifles and $100 for AWP) is the economic engine: win the pistol round, buy a MAC-10 or MP9, get 2–3 kills, and you've funded your next rifle.
The T-side SMG – $1,050, fast fire rate, the first buy after winning T-side pistol round.
Budget under $0.50: Candy Apple ($0.20), Carnivore ($0.10), Allure ($0.05), Silver ($0.03).
The CT-side equivalent – $1,250, tighter spray, the go-to CT buy after pistol round.
Budget under $1: Mount Fuji ($1–$3), Sand Dashed ($0.03), Modest Threat ($0.03).
The versatile middle-ground SMG – $1,500, works on both sides, effective at close-to-medium range.
Budget under $0.50: Special Delivery ($0.50), Cirrus ($0.05), Armor Core ($0.03).
50-round magazine, $2,350, $300 kill reward – a niche buy for aggressive pushes.
Budget under $1: Elite Build ($0.50–$1), Facility Draft ($0.30), Freight ($0.05), Off World ($0.03).
MP9 Wild Lily Factory New at ~$40, with the P90 Death by Kitty FN next at ~$40. After that, prices drop off quickly – most SMG skins are under $15 even in Factory New.
The MAC-10 has the strongest designs (Neon Rider, Disco Tech, Stalker). The MP9 has the highest-value skins (Wild Lily, Food Chain). The P90 has the Asiimov for loadout matching, and the MP7 Bloodsport is the best single option for red loadouts.
SMGs are situational weapons used 3–5 rounds per game versus 8–12 for rifles. Lower play time means lower demand and lower prices. The upside: you can build a complete set for all 6 SMGs for under $20.
After winning pistol round (anti-eco), on force buys when you cannot afford a rifle, or when you want the $600 kill reward to build economy. MAC-10 for T-side, MP9 for CT-side, MP7 for medium-range versatility.
The P90 Asiimov ($5–$12 FT) is the direct match. There is no MAC-10 or MP9 Asiimov, so for T-side the MAC-10 Heat (similar orange tones) is the closest alternative.
Roughly 300 skins across 6 weapons: MAC-10 (44), P90 (43), MP9 (42), MP7 (38), UMP-45 (36) and PP-Bizon (34).
