Hydra Gloves Skins

All Gloves

Hydra Gloves are one of the cheapest glove types in CS2. Four skins, simple designs, budget prices. They share the same base model as Bloodhound and Broken Fang Gloves, differing only in the Hydra logo on the back of the hand. Prices run from $33 (Rattler/Mangrove BS) to $384 (Case Hardened FN).

Despite the name, Hydra Gloves do NOT drop from the Operation Hydra Case. They drop from the Clutch Case (2018). This is one of CS2's most common misconceptions.

All 4 Hydra Gloves

  • Case Hardened ($65–$384). The most expensive Hydra Gloves. Blue-gold-purple pattern similar to the weapon finish. Blue-dominant copies command premiums, same as Case Hardened on weapons. The one collectible Hydra Gloves skin.
  • Emerald ($37–$212). Green gemstone pattern. The most popular Hydra Gloves skin. A budget green glove that pairs with Lore knives, Tiger Tooth, and green weapon skins. At $37 BS, one of the cheapest gloves in CS2 that actually looks good.
  • Mangrove ($33–$167). Swamp green camouflage. Cheapest Hydra skin (tied with Rattler). Natural-looking.
  • Rattler ($33–$142). Snake-scale in brown tones. Budget pick.

Why Emerald at $37 is one of the best deals in CS2

Most gloves that look decent cost $100+. Sport Gloves start at $94 BS. Specialist Gloves Fade is $122 BS. Driver Gloves King Snake is $105 BS. The Hydra Gloves Emerald gives you a distinct, recognizable green pattern for $37.

It pairs with Gut Knife Tiger Tooth ($107) for a green-gold combo totaling $144. Or with Huntsman Boreal Forest ($38) for a full green loadout at $75. Or with Talon Lore ($260) for a premium green setup at $297. No other glove at this price gives you this much loadout flexibility.

Hydra Gloves drop from the Clutch Case, not the Hydra Case

This confuses people constantly. The Operation Hydra Case (2017) drops Moto Gloves Spearmint, Sport Gloves Pandora's Box, and other premium skins. The Hydra Gloves themselves drop from the Clutch Case (2018). The naming is misleading, but that is how Valve set it up.

The Clutch Case also contains Sport Gloves Vice, Specialist Gloves Fade, and Driver Gloves King Snake. Many players open Clutch Cases hoping for those premium gloves and end up with Hydra Gloves instead, which keeps supply high and prices at the bottom.

What to buy
