Their design features hard plastic and carbon-fiber knuckle protectors over a fabric glove base — think tactical shooting gloves. The Dead Hand Terminal (March 2026) added 7 new Specialist Gloves, making them the glove type with the most variety. The Glove Case and Clutch Case contain the classic premium skins and are no longer actively dropped.

Like all gloves, wear is constantly visible in first person. The knuckle guards on Specialist Gloves show wear as scuffing and scratching on the hard surfaces, while the fabric base shows fading and discoloration. The price impact is significant: Fade costs ~$122 BS vs $3,000+ FN (25x difference). Crimson Kimono goes from ~$480 BS to $9,191+ FN.

For budget buyers, aim for low-float Field-Tested copies (0.15–0.20 range). These look significantly better than high-float FT copies (0.35+) and cost much less than MW or FN.
