Negev Skins

All Heavy

The Negev is CS2's $1,700 machine gun. Hold the trigger for two seconds and it becomes a laser. Nobody buys it seriously, but it has a skin that costs $2,462.

That skin is Mjölnir, a Mil-Spec from the Norse Collection, and it costs more than a Butterfly Knife Marble Fade. The Negev has 25 skins total, and two of them are worth more than most knife collections. This page lists every Negev skin with current prices.

Two skins worth more than knives

  • Mjölnir ($1,465–$2,462). Mil-Spec. Thor's hammer design from the Norse Collection. A MIL-SPEC Negev skin that costs $2,462 in Factory New. This is not a typo. The Norse Collection produces so few skins that even a Mil-Spec on the most ignored weapon in the game reaches four figures. This is the most extreme price-to-use-case mismatch in CS2.
  • Anodized Navy ($299–$435). Mil-Spec. Plain dark blue from the Arms Deal Collection (2013). $435 for a plain blue Negev. The oldest collection in CS2 + any demand = this.
  • Palm ($6–$294). Consumer. Palm tree pattern from the St. Marc Collection. A Consumer-grade skin at $294 in FN.

The rest

  • Infrastructure ($11–$58). Classified. Construction design. The only Classified.
  • CaliCamo ($16–$25). Restricted. California camouflage.
  • Phoenix Stencil ($18–$23). Mil-Spec. Phoenix from the Rising Sun Collection.
  • Power Loader ($1–$8). Restricted. Mech suit.
  • Loudmouth ($1–$5). Restricted. Comic book.

Everything else is under $3: Ultralight, Bratatat, Prototype, Dev Texture, Drop Me, Wall Bang, Dazzle, Man-o'-war, Terrain, Nuclear Waste, Army Sheen. Most cost pennies.

Should you own a Negev skin?

If you buy the Negev in-game (ever), a Loudmouth at $1 or Power Loader at $1 is fine. Infrastructure at $11 is the most you should reasonably spend. The Mjölnir exists as a collector item and a conversation piece, not as a practical purchase. It is the kind of skin someone buys to screenshot for Reddit, not to use in a competitive match.

Frequently asked questions

How many Negev skins?

25. One Classified (Infrastructure). No Coverts.

Most expensive Negev?

Mjölnir FN at ~$2,462. A Mil-Spec skin. From the Norse Collection.

Why does a Negev skin cost $2,462?

The Norse Collection is extremely limited. It produces skins for many weapons, but so few copies exist that even low-rarity skins on unpopular weapons reach four figures. Mjölnir also has an appealing design (Thor's hammer), which adds collector demand on top of scarcity.

Cheapest Negev?

Army Sheen at $0.01.
