The Classic Knife is a throwback to Counter-Strike's original default knife — the blade every CS 1.6 player remembers. There are 12 Classic Knife skins, with prices starting at around $66 for a Forest DDPAT BS and reaching past $1,800 for a Crimson Web FN.

Unlike most other knife models, the Classic Knife drops from a single case — the CS20 Case — and has a unique finish selection that includes Fade and Slaughter but not Doppler, Marble Fade or Tiger Tooth.

What defines the Classic Knife

Released in October 2019 with the CS20 Case (celebrating CS:GO's 20th anniversary), the Classic Knife recreates the original Counter-Strike 1.6 default knife. Its design and animations are deliberately plain, mimicking the feel of the original game. It appeals primarily to veteran CS players.

Premium ($200–$1,800+)

  • Crimson Web ($140–$1,800+). Restricted minimum float. FN copies extremely rare.
  • Fade ($250–$350). The Classic Knife DOES have Fade — one of few 12-skin models with this finish.
  • Slaughter ($180–$280). Also available. Metallic red with diamond/phoenix patterns.
  • Case Hardened ($130–$400+). Blue gem patterns on the nostalgic blade.
  • Night Stripe ($100–$600+). Restricted float. Dark finish.

Mid-range & Budget ($66–$200)
